In response
to the recent changes to the CPSIA laws going into effect this year, we
would like to specify the intended use of our products. According to section
16 CFR Part 1500, Section 101(b) (2) of the CPSIA, "provides that the
lead limits will not apply to any component part of a children's product
that is not accessible to a child through normal and reasonably forseeable
use and abuse." As our products are artwork and decorative items, not
meant to be handled by children, we are excused for the testing according
to the section quoted above. Our products are shipped out with tags attesting
the intended use, recommending that they not be handled by children.
