"Drops In The River"

This piece was inspired by the song "Drops in The River" by Fleet Foxes. As the song says,"Days are just drops in the river to be lost always". The serene and earthy sound of their music inspires full color daydreams. This painting is an overhead view of the "river". Done in a geometric style with wet drips of color running perpendicularly throughout the piece. The water rings in the drops are painted with real Silver Leaf.
